Hi, I remember a long time ago I flew on a Cathay Pacific A340-300 from HKG to JFK. I'm curious as to how long the A343 was used on this route after replacing the A346 and before it itself was replaced by the 77W. HKG-JFK is just barely within the range of the A343 (13,000km distance, 13,500km range), so it doesn't seem as though the A343 is the most sustainable aircraft for the route as anything from heavy loads to headwinds would necessitate a fuel stop. In addition, a quick photo search for "Cathay Pacific A340-300" with JFK set as the location yields only three results, so it seems as though the A343 was a rather temporary deployment. Thoughts?
