Have you ever filled a prescription that you knew was just weird enough to arouse suspicion but was passable? I've seen quite a few of these and (other than track the pt. and Dr. over time) have no idea what to do about them. I've seen oxy's with hyperlipidemia indications and max daily dose Adderall with a depression indication for a 17 year old. The doctors writing for these are local but I can't help but wonder if they are making poor/unethical judgement calls. I've felt stuck between a rock and a hard place with these Rxs and don't want my license to be on the line any longer for these borderline questionable prescriptions. Most of the doctors at our local urgent care will write scripts for anything and I don't want to face any repercussions for their poor prescribing habits.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
